USF Lands 2012 Defensive Tackle Commitment

From Greg Auman - The Bulls finally got some good news this month with the verbal commitment of Olympia defensive tackle James Hamilton. The 6-4 325-pound tackle out of Orlando, Florida had been a commit to FSU, but flipped last night and is now heading to Tampa. His cousin, Corian Hamilton (currently redshirting this season), committed to USF last season.

Hamilton is rated as a 4-star prospect according to ESPN (24th best defensive tackle prospect) and a 3-star prospect according to 247, Rivals, and Scout.

This is a huge signing for the Bulls. Hamilton is the first defensive tackle of the 2012 recruiting class and helps fill a need on the roster. He will join the team and immediately join the competition for playing time. If he is able to develop, he could join Elkino Watson and provide a strong front for the Bulls (once he signs).
