The USF Bulls, fresh off of a huge comeback win against Syracuse on Saturday night, face a huge test as they take on the Louisville Cardinals (game starts at 7PM).
USF is 9-2-2 (4-0-1) on the season, leading the Red Division and takes on a Louisville team that enters the night at 8-4-1 (1-3-1), including 5-1-1 at home on the season. The Cardinals are a tough team, so the Bulls will be facing a tough test if they want to keep the winning streak going and stay ahead in the Big East race.
The Cardinals are led by senior midfielder Kenney Walker (5-9 175-pounds). He has 4 goals on the season with 3 assists, scoring and helping set up offense. Senior forward Colin Rolfe (6-0 175-pounds) has 3 goals and 5 assists on the year.
Senior midfielder/forward Nick DeLeon (5-10 170-pounds) has 2 goals and 4 assists on the season. Junior midfielder Michael Roman (5-10 150-pounds) has 3 goals and 1 assist on the year (limited action, but makes the most of his playing time). Junior Buck Tufty (5-9 165-pounds) has 3 goals and 1 assists. What you see from Louisville is a balanced scoring attack with a lot of players adding into the scoring attack, spreading the field and making life hard for an opposing defense.
Senior Andre Bourdreaux 5-11 180-pounds) is the starting golakeeper. He has allowed just 9 goals all season (.67 goals per game) so scoring will be tough. He has stopped 34 shots on the season (.791) and shuts opponents down. Dom Dwyer will have a hard time getting goals.
The Bulls are facing a huge challenge here. The Cardinals are one of the best teams in the conference and will try to shut down the USF scoring attack led by Dom Dwyer. If USF can get on the board early and lock down on defense, they can win this game. It is going to be a huge match that everyone can watch on ESPNU so tune in and cheer for a win.
