The Bulls had a rough afternoon as they fell 3 to 0 to Notre Dame in a critical Big East matchup. The loss sends them to a 9-13 (5-3) record and into 6th place in the conference.
Kayla Walton had 7 kills and 1 dig on the afternoon. Valerie El Houssine led the team with 15 kills and added 7 digs as well. Shelbie Dailey had 21 sets and 10 digs on the day. Janice Rivera had 2 sets and 16 digs. Jessica Burghart had 10 sets and 3 digs as well.
Notre Dame controlled the game from the start, winning the first set 25 to 23, after that, USF could not get anything going as they fell in straight sets. The loss puts them in 6th place, but they return home for four straight games. The first game is Friday night at 7PM against Louisville. It will be a key moment in the season for the ladies as they try to keep pace in the Big East and notch wins at home.
