The Bulls, coming off of a defeat to Notre Dame, are looking to rebound at home as they take on Louisville in another key Big East game (game starts at 7PM). USF enters the night at 9-12 (5-3) and in need of a conference win. While the Cardinals enter the contest at 16-6 (8-1) but are just 5-4 away from home, so the home crowd will play a part as USF faces off against one of the best in the conference.

The Cardinals are led by junior outside-hitter Lola Arslanbekova (5-11). She leads the team with 397 kills (yikes), 17 service aces, and 184 digs. She does a little bit of everything and will be a big key to stopping Louisville. Sophomore outside-hitter Emily Juhl (5-10) has 182 kills, 19 service aces, and 67 digs on the season.

Sophomore middle-blocker Brooke Mattingly (6-3) has 157 kills and 21 digs. Sophomore setter Cailin Welch (5-6) has 329 digs and 23 service aces, covering the middle of the court well and setting up the kills for others. Sophomore setter Taylor Brauneis (5-10) has 51 kills, 825 assists, and 159 digs, helping her teammates out well.

USF needs to step up in this game. They were swept by Notre Dame and need to defend home court. If they want to raise their ranking in the Big East they have to take on the best teams in the conference and beat them. This is a perfect chance for USF to get a big time win and move up in the standings in the same process.
