Rush Through the Roster: Aleisha Flowers

The next player in the countdown is forward Aleisha Flowers. Flowers gives Fernandez size and athletic ability on the wing, adding scoring and also rebounding. Flowers will play a big role this season.

Flowers saw limited action last season, but should see increased time this year due to her athletic ability and solid mid-range game. She played in 12 games, scoring a season high 2 points against Middle Tennessee State. She also pulled down a career high 6 rebounds against FAU, showing her ability when given the chance to play.

In the Big East, especially against teams as solid as UCONN, opponents need size and skill in the paint, Flowers gives Fernandez that, either starting or coming off the bench. Look for her to make an impact this season.
