The series rolls on as we take a look at guard Andrell Smith, twin sister Andrea Smith. Smith had a solid season for the Bulls last year, coming on late after a cold start in the beginning. She will only get better in year two under Fernandez.
Andrell Smith - 5-8 - Junior - Guard
Andrell had a cold start to the season, but came into her own late in the season, running the offense and adding points as well. She finished averaging 8.3 points per game, 3.5 rebounds, and was second on the team with 2.3 assists per game.
She is not as explosive as her sister Andrea, but is a solid shooter, moves well with the ball and makes great decisions on the court. Running in Fernandez's system, the point guard spot is a critical position and she has all the ability to run the show. We look forward to seeing how she progresses this season.
