USF Basketball Gets the Win Over Marist

USF is 2-0, please support this team!

The Bulls continue the strong start to the 2011-2012 season with a 81 to 67 win over Marist, moving them to 2-0 on the season (#Bullsnation needs to be trending already people).

Ron Anderson Jr. had 11 points before he fouled out in the game. Gus Gilchrist had 11 points as well, getting off to a slow start, but still averaging double figures to start the season. Blake Nash had 11 points (2 for 5 from 3-point range). We are fans of Nash, so expect a lot of coverage on him this season. Hugh Robertson had 9 points. Victor Rudd had a break out game for USF. He had 30-points to lead all scorers, doing damage from the 3-point line and finishing at the rim with force!

It was a nice start for the Bulls as they get use to playing at the Forum. Only a small crowd was on hand to watch this game (around 400 or so according to Adam Adkins) but it didn't matter for the Bulls as they dictated the pace in the second half and let Rudd take over the game in a break out performance for him. The Bulls will take on Florida Southern on Wednesday night (game starts at 7PM) in the Lakeland Center, the other home court for USF. Great win for the Bulls, just one of many this season.
