USF Injury Updates

Defensive end Claude Davis is questionable for the game on Saturday.
Here a few notes from the Holtz press conference from yesterday (per Adam Adkins).

Running back Darrell Scott has been cleared to play against Miami. He missed the Syracuse game with a wrist and concussion-symptoms. He suited up for the game, but never got onto the field. Having him to provide the power in the running game, along with Murray, is a great plus heading into Saturday.

WR A.J. Love is now listed as questionable for Saturday. He aggravated a stress fracture in his shin and has been battling the pain. While having Love injured, the Bulls will have receiver Stephen Bravo-Brown back. Bravo has been dealing with an ankle sprain, but should be ready to go. The Bulls are thin on experience at receiver, so having him back out there will help.

There are two other injuries to report (aside from T-Rex likely being out for the season). Linebacker Reshard Cliett, a key member of special teams, will be questionable again with an ankle sprain. Senior defensive end Claude Davis, who is third on the team with 5 sacks, is questionable as he deals with an ankle injury as well.

Another note to make is the punter situation. Justin Brockhaus-Kann who has been struggling this season, averaging 37 yards a punt, will have some competition the last few weeks. Freshman Chris Veron, who won the job in Spring, has been pushing JBK and may get a chance to play. Holtz said he is not afraid to put in the freshman if JBK continues to struggle, something to watch for the rest of the season.
