USF Soccer Notches Big Win Over UCF 2 to 1

The Bulls battled UCF into overtime but came away with a huge win in front of 3000 fans as they advance into the third round of the NCAA tournament.

The Bulls scored first on an own goal by the Knights, giving USF the lead in the 70th minute. UCF answered right back with a goal in the 72nd minute to pull even as the Bulls struggled to keep the pressure up and control the ball. They battled into overtime where USF was able to seal the game. Wesley Charpie headed in the game winner to give USF the huge win. After a long win of losses for most of the athletic teams, it was great to see USF come away with a big time win.

The Bulls will face the winner of #9 New Mexico and Duke on Sunday in the Sweet 16 of the tournament. Huge win, keep it going men!
