The USF ladies had to battle WVU down to 5 sets, but were able to come away with a huge road win in conference play. USF improves to 11-15 (7-6) as they try to make their way to the Big East tournament.
J'beria Davis had 11 kills and 3 digs. Kimika Rozier had 13 kills. Kayla Walton had 10 kills and 4 digs. Valerie El Houssine had 17 kills and 20 digs as she continues her monster freshman season (where would this team be without her?) Shelbie Dailey had 4 kills, 11 digs, and 32 assists (led team). Janice Rivera had 4 assists and 30 digs (also led team). Claudia Cabrera had 2 assists and 12 digs.
This was a huge game for the ladies. They have been in the middle of the conference and needed to come away with a win to help improve their chances to get into the tournament and they handled their business. It won't get easier tomorrow as they take on Pitt (2PM). Great work ladies, keep it going!
