USF Volleyball Falls to Pitt

The ladies lost the final Big East game of the season, dropping the game in 4 sets to the Pitt Panthers. The ladies drop to 11-16 (7-7) and will miss the Big East tournament. They still have one game scheduled on the 23rd against FAMU (game scheduled for 1PM).

J'beria Davis had 8 kills and 3 digs. Kimika Rozier had 9 kills and 2 digs. Kayla Walton had 7 kills and 3 digs. Valerie El Houssine had 15 kills, 2 service aces, and 13 digs, doing everything she could to save the season. Shelbie Dailey had 39 assists and 16 assists. Janice Rivera had 23 digs and Claudia Cabrera had 14 digs.

The ladies battled, but it just wasn't enough late in the game. Missing out on the Big East tournament is a rough way to end the season, but the team battled, has plenty of young talent returning next season, and will get to play at the new Corral once it is finished.
