USF Volleyball Sweeps Georgetown

Valerie El Houssine continues to own the Big East in her freshman season.

Finally a positive note from the weekend. The USF ladies won over Geogetown today, 3 to 0 in the sweep, improving their record to 10-15 (6-6).

J'beria Davis had 8 kills and 2 digs on the afternoon. Kayla Walton had 6 kills, 2 digs, and 3 blocks. Andrea Rodriguez Gomez had 5 kills, 1 service ace, and 4 digs. Valerie El Houssine had 11 kills, 2 service aces, and 4 digs (Belgium Beast continues to destroy everyone in her freshman season). Shelbie Dailey had 30 assists and Janice Rivera led the team with 8 digs.

This was a huge win for the ladies as they try to notch a few wins at the end of the season in hopes of improving their Big East tournament standings. It was their last conference home game as they hit the road Saturday to take on WVU (game at 2PM). Great effort today ladies!
