USF volleyball returns to action as they try to make up ground in the Big East standings and try to secure a spot in the Big East tournament. The lady Bulls are 10-15 (6-6) and are in desperate need of a conference win as they travel to Morgantown. The Mountaineers are 7-17 (5-8) on the season, including 6-6 at home, so USF should come out firing in this game (game starts at 2PM).
WVU is led by senior outside-hitter Michelle Kopecky (6-1). She has 223 kills on the season, 29 service aces, and 96 digs. Senior outside-hitter Kylie Armbruster (5-11) has 186 kills, 10 service aces, and 162 digs, giving WVU a solid pair of senior, outside hitters.
Senior outside-hitter Anke de Jong (6-3) has 131 kills and 49 digs. Senior setter Kari Post (5-10) has 63 kills, 697 assists, and 196 digs on the season. Senior outside-hitter Serinna Russo (5-10) has 11 kills, 47 assists, and leads the team with 474 digs.
USF is led by freshman Valerie El Houssine who continues to dominate is her first season. She has played in 91 sets this season, adding 328 kills, 42 service aces, and 181 digs. The Bulls will need her to be at her best in this game and help get not only a huge Big East win, but Coach Lessinger's 100th career win.
