Five Days of Christmas: Day 1

We have reached the final day of the count down and have gotten some of the greatest gifts from USF so far, but now it's time for the ultimate gift athletics gave us this season. So without any further wait, let's take a look at the number one gift from USF to us, the fans.

Number One: Soccer

The number one gift USF gave us this season was the incredible elite 8 run the men's soccer team had. With the new Corbett Field as their home, the men's team played unreal soccer all time, creating a new fan base as packed stands awaited them every game.

Newcomers like Dom Dwyer and Chris Blais had incredible seasons as the Bulls won the Big East Red Division and a trip to the postseason. Their run came to an end in the elite 8, but the team had one of the most successful seasons out of all the teams on campus and will only get better as the team continues to recruit well and energize the fans for them.

So there you have it USF fans, the top five gifts the Bulls have given us this season. It has been an interesting year for athletics, but with all the lessons learned this season, the gifts they will give us next year will only be greater.
