Wishlist for Santa

It's Christmas eve and Santa will be loading up his sleigh and heading out to deliver gifts to all the good USF fans around the world (just coal for any other fan out there).  For the fans that have been good, Santa will bring them gifts.  Since we have been good all year (what happens at tailgates, stays at tailgates, so don't bring anything up) here are a few things on our wish-list to Santa.

5. On Campus Stadium - I get it, this is not happening.  But with the new Sun Dome, Corbett, softball/baseball complex, the final step in making the campus the central for athletics would be an on-campus stadium or something within walking distance and not at Raymond James.  Ray Jay is a fun stadium and we will call it home for years, but since this is a wish list for Santa, I think I can add it on here.

4. A consistent football team - A 5-7 record and no bowl game for the first time in 7 years, not a great way to end the season.  The Bulls started the season with big wins, but fell apart once again in conference play.  I am hoping that Santa can bring something to keep our team healthy for next year and help them get over the conference curse or whatever it is holding them back from winning the title.

3. More Big East wins for basketball - USF is 7-5 on the season, more wins at this stage than last year.  As they get ready to open up play in the Big East, they face the defending national champions UCONN in the first game.  The conference has been rough for the Bulls have the past few years, but I am hoping Santa and bring a few more wins for this team.  10 wins is just not a good season and this team has the talent to do more, so maybe is Santa brings them luck, they can win more than 10 games.

2. Postseason for some team - Missing a bowl game for football was painful, the soccer teams run through the NCAA tournament was cut short of the ultimate goal, and now basketball season is in full swing with baseball/softball coming soon. As a fan and big time supporter of athletics, I want another team to make a postseason, whether is an NIT bid or just a Big East tournament run, please let one team go somewhere this season.

1. For everyone to have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays - Corny, I know, but I wish everyone a Happy Holidays.  Thank you for reading through the first year and following us as we grow as a site, with Mike and Marc, and onto bigger things in the very near future.
