USF Lands Another JUCO OL Commit

Per Greg Auman - The recruiting is starting to pick up as the Bulls land another commit to the class of 2012 with JUCO offensive lineman Lawrence Martin (6-3 30-pounds) out of Merced College out of California.

Martin, who played at Daytona Seabreeze High School (played point guard at 28-pounds, that's just strange) before going to Georgia Military Academy and on to Merced, was originally headed to Arkansas State, but had some trouble with a course. He completed the course, but with the new head coaching change, he decided to open up the recruitment again and signed with the Bulls (looked at FIU and Ole Miss as well). Martin stated he felt comfortable with the coaches, which was the deciding factor.

This is the second JUCO offensive lineman to join the Bulls in the last week, joining Chandlor Mathews-York. Having experienced lineman (both enrolling in January as well) will help the Bulls as they look to rebuild the line and help sure up the young depth as well. Welcome to the family Lawrence.
