Gina Kafalas - 5-6 - Senior - Outfield - Bats: Left - Throws: Right
At number two on the countdown is senior Gina Kafalas. Kafalas returns for her final season after a huge junior year for the Bulls. She played in all 53 games, batting .359 during the year, driving in 8 runs, playing lead off for most of the games for Eriksen. She drew 15 walks to 21 strike outs and stole 24 out of 26 bases, giving the Bulls another weapon on the bases. She is very athletic and has tremendous range in the outfield, giving the Bulls a great defensive edge.
Kafalas built off her strong sophomore season. She batted .323 in 2010, driving in 5 runs (played in 45 games) and stole 20 bases out of 23 attempts. Gina will have another huge season as the Bulls try to get to the postseason and improve even more this season.
