USF Lands 2012 Commit

From Greg Auman - News came yesterday that DE/TE Guito Ervilus (6-4 230-pounds) has committed to USF.

The Oak Ridge High School star (from Orlando, Florida) made the commitment to USF after receiving offers from several top programs including Florida State, Miami, and UNC.  Ervilus is a very raw athlete that could play on either side of the ball, but he will get his first chance at defensive end.  Ervilus is rated as a 3-star recruit (according to Rivals.com).

This is the 15th commitment for the Bulls 2012 recruiting class and helps fill a need on the defensive line.  The Bulls did get some bad news however as 3-star athlete Chris Moody, the top quarterback prospect on the Bulls recruit list, made a verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.  The Bulls are still trying to find a quarterback in this recruiting class (lost out on Tyler Cameron as well).

Check out some of Ervilus's high school footage below.  He is a raw athlete that could be a great defensive end or even a tight end, depending on how the coaches want to use him.
