USF MBB Beats DePaul 75 to 59

The USF Bulls won another big game in conference play with their 75 to 59 effort over DePaul. USF is now 12-8 (5-2) on the season, moving them into a tie for third place in the conference (yes, I can't believe it either). USF shot 56% from the floor and pulled down 38 rebounds in the big win for Heath and company.

Anthony Collins had a quiet game, scoring 9 points and adding 3 assists. Augustus Gilchrist had 22 points, going 8 for 10 at the free throw line, and adding 5 rebounds. Hugh Robertson had 9 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists. Ron Anderson Jr. had 8 pints, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Victor Rudd Jr. had 6 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists.

JAWANZA Poland had a huge game off the bench for USF, scoring 19 points and adding 5 rebounds (had 4 fouls during the game). Toarlyn Fitzpatrick had 8 rebounds off the bench as well. USF was in control late in this game after a run by DePaul at the start of the second half. At the end of the game, USF was able to put in Mike McCloskey and Alberto Damour for the closing seconds (let the walk-ons play!)

This was a huge win for the Bulls. They are now 5-2 on the season in conference play, moving them into a tie for 3rd place (check the records, it is correct). The Bulls won't be able to enjoy this win for too long as they prepare for the 22nd ranked Marquette Golden Eagles on Tuesday night (game starts at 8PM)
