The USF ladies continue their incredible start to the 2012 season with a 2 to 0 win over Georgia Southern as they improve to an incredible 6-1 record to start the season.  It was a pitchers duel with Lindsey Richardson dealing heat from the start.  She went 6 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 walk, and struck out 0.  Sam Greiner came in for the 7th and struck out the side to end the game.

Offense was at a premium in this game.  Gina Kafalas was 1 for 4 with a double.  Janine Richardson was 2 for 3 with a stolen base.  The hero of the day was Jessica Mouse.  She was 2 for 3, driving in both runs to give the Bulls the big win as they look to get off to a hot start this season.

This was a great win for the Bulls as they were able to grind out a close win and continue to get outstanding pitching and timely hitting.  The Bulls will now face Illinois and Mississippi State on Friday (games at 3:30 PM and 6PM).  They will have another big tournament but another great chance to continue this incredible streak they are currently on.
