USF Upsets 18th Ranked Louisville!

We see you!
Yes, this is happening.  The USF Bulls went on the road tonight and upset 18th ranked Louisville 58 to 51, raising their record to 19-11 (12-5) on the season as they continue their quest for the NCAA tournament.

This was an unreal game as the Bulls frustrated the Cardinals to just 17 points in the first half as the USF defense came to play and locked down the perimeter.  The Cards came roaring back in the second half, but USF held fast, made their free throws, made clutch shots, and continued to play the unreal defense we have grown accustomed to as they shut down the Cardinals on their home court.

Hugh Roberson had 7 points and 7 rebounds as he continues his great senior season.  Anthony Collins had 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, leading the offensive attack.  Augustus Gilchrist had 8 points and 3 rebounds.  While the stat sheet doesn't say it, his defense was huge in the game.  Ron Anderson Jr. had 4 points and 6 rebounds.  Toarlyn Fitzpatrick had a huge night off the bench with 11 points and 7 rebounds.

What a night.  The Bulls needed a big win and they got it, but the work is not over yet.  USF will face West Virginia in  a huge game on Saturday afternoon (game starts at noon) in the Forum that could be the deciding factor for their NCAA dreams.  We encourage everyone and their cousin to get to Tampa and get to the Forum to cheer on this great team.
