USF Baseball Falls to UCF 2 to 6

The USF Bulls fell 2 to 6 to 19th ranked UCF, dropping their overall record to 14-8 on the year. USF had the lead early in the game, but the Knights got on the board against Derrick Stultz and the Bulls could not answer late.

Derrick Stultz went 6.2 innings, allowing 3 hits, 6 runs, 2 walks, and struck out 6. Steven Leasure went 1.1 innings, allowing 1 hit, 1 walk, and struck out one batter. Kyle Parker got two outs, allowing a hit and struck out one batter. Ray Delphey got the last out via a strike out. Alex Mendez went 1 for 2 with a walk and scored a run. Chad Taylor went 2 for 4. Jimmy Falla went 2 for 4 with an RBI and Kyle Teaf went 1 for 3.

The Bulls will host Georgetown this weekend for a 3-game series, starting with the first game on Friday night at 7PM.
