The USF Bulls completed their 3-game sweep with a 1 to 0 win over Rutgers as both sides battled each other in a pitchers dual.
Sara Nevins went 6.2 innings, allowing 4 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 5 as she continues to dominate the circle. Sam Greiner got the last out. The offense had just 2 hits on the day as both sides struggled to get anything going until the 5th inning when the Bulls loaded the bases. Kenshyra Jackson was hit by a pitch with the bases full and scored Jessica Mouse, that was the deciding factor in the game.
It was a solid win for the Bulls even with their offense struggling. They are now 29-5 (3-0) on the season, they will now hit the road for a mid-week game against the Florida Gators at 6PM before they get back to Big East action against Pitt on the road this weekend.
