USF WBB Falls to James Madison

The season is over for the USF ladies as they fall 45 to 72 in the 3 round of the WNIT tournament.  The Bulls kept it close in the first half but could not find their shot in the game as JMU took the lead and never looked back.  The loss ends the season for the lady Bulls at 19-16, ending a strong season on the hardwood.

Tahira Johnson had 4 points and 3 rebounds.  Jasmine Wynne had 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 steals in her last game of her USF career (what a career it has been for her).  Kaneisha Saunders had 7 points and 5 rebounds.  Tiffany Conner had 2 points and 6 rebounds.  Inga Orekhova had 11 points in the game but was just 1 of 7 from 3-point range.  Andrell Smith had 5 points and Shalethia Stringfield had 4 points and 2 rebounds in the game.

What a season it was for the Bulls.  They made a postseason tournament, improved in Big East play, and proved to everyone they are a power program that is only going to get better in the years to come.
