USF WBB Rolls Over FAU in the Opening Round of the WNIT Tournament

This was quite the offensive performance.  The Bulls won the opening round of the WNIT tournament with a 76 to 20 score, tying the largest margin of victory in program history. USF was up 35 to 8 in the first half and the Bulls were able to cruise in the second half as they improve to 18-15 on the year and advance to the second round of the WNIT.

Jasmine Wynne had 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals on the night.  Kaneisha Saunders had 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.  Inga Orekhova had 9 points (just 3 of 10 from 3-point range) and added 2 assists and 3 rebounds.  Tiffany Conner had 2 points and 12 rebounds.  Andrell Smith had 15 points and 4 rebounds.  Caitlin Rowe had 2 points and 10 rebounds and Shalethia Stringfield had 8 points and 5 rebounds.  Akila McDonald added 7 points and 7 rebounds as well as the Bulls were able to build the lead and locked down on defense.

This was quite the game.  The ladies came out focused, prepared, and put on a show.  They will next face FIU on Saturday night at 7PM.
