From Last Night: Baseball Drops Game to Pitt

Last night, the Bulls dropped a key game to Pitt on the road, 1 to 2, dropping their record to 23-12 (8-2) on the season and taking them out of their tie for 1st place (at the moment).

Andrew Barbosa worked 6 innings, allowing just 4 hits, 2 runs, 3 walks, and struck out 7 batters.  Adrian Puig worked 1.1 innings, allowing a walk and struck out a batter.  Kyle Parker got the last two outs of the game.

The offense was held in check by the Panthers that were just 2-7 in league play entering the series.  James Ramsay went 1 for 4.  Todd Brazeal went 2 for 4 with a solo home run and Buddy Putnam went 1 for 4 in a quiet night at the plate for the Bulls.

USF will look to rebound today with a 3PM game time.  They wrap up the series tomorrow at 1PM.
