USF Basketball Lands Verbal Commitment from FAU: Forward Kore White

The Bulls received news today that former FAU forward Kore White (6-8 245-pounds) who has one year of eligibility left, will play for USF and Coach Heath next season (will attend grad school) (per Greg Auman).

White averaged 7.7 points per game last year, 4.5 rebounds per game, .5 assists per game, and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 42% from the floor.

White will join Waverly Austin, Toarlyn Fitzpatrick, Jordan Omogbehin, and incoming freshman Zac LeDay, giving the Bulls a lot of depth and talent on the front line, something that will be needed in the tough Big East.

This is a great addition to the USF family.  Coach Heath stills have one scholarship available for the 2012 class after losing out on Sam Cassell Jr. last weekend, but at this point, he may keep that scholarship for next year's class.  Welcome to the USF family Kore.
