Top 5 Defensive Players from 2011: Number 4

At number 5, defensive end Ryne Giddins made the countdown of the top defensive players from 2011.  Now we turn out attention to the number 4 player on the countdown for the Bulls.  Let's see who made the list.

At number four on the list is safety Jerrell Young.  The senior had an outstanding campaign in the secondary as the team dealt with various injuries throughout the year.  Young stayed on the field and provided leadership both through action and example.

Young totaled 51 tackles, 3 sacks, and 2 interceptions from the safety position, coming up in the box to help support the run and dropping back and taking away the pass.  Young was all over the field, punishing anyone with the ball.  Now he has signed a free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars as he looks to continue his career at the pro level.

Think Young should be higher on the list or should Giddins be in this spot?  Let the debate begin.
