Victor Rudd Jr. Returning Next Season

He's BACK!
From USF Athletics, Greg Auman, and Joey Johnston - According to a press release tonight, sophomore forward Victor Rudd Jr. will withdraw his name from the NBA draft and will return to USF for his junior season in 2012.

The 6-7 forward burst onto the scene in his first season for the Bulls after sitting out the 2010-2011 season.  The talented young man averaged 9.3 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, and shot 30% from 3-point range.  Rudd proved to be a go-to scorer during the Bulls tournament run, averaging double digits in every game.  He is a skilled player that can finish at the rim and will only get better with his shooting touch with more time.

Many had hoped Rudd would return to USF and the hopes have been answered.  Coach Heath stated Rudd was still attending classes and was very optimistic that he would return to the team for the 2012 season and now the Bulls have their second leading scorer back.  This is huge for the Bulls as they look to make another tournament run in 2012.
