#3 - Darrell Scott jumps over defender against Ball State

The Bulls got a couple impressive early non-conference wins at the beginning of the season and there were several individual highlights from those games.  One in particular that stood out was DarrellScott jumping over a defender.

On a few occasions, Scott, the former 5-star recruit (sat out a season and then departed early to the NFL draft), showed off his athletic ability by leaping over defenders.  While most considered Scott a power back that would earn a living between the tackles, Scott showed he had the speed and ability to make things happen in the open field.

Against Ball State, Scott carried the ball 11 times for 82 yards including his 3rd quarter touchdown on a one yard run when he jumped over the defender to find the endzone.  Scott didn't do this very often (don't want a running back jumping in the air too much) but when he did it, it was always a special moment.

Scott had a great year for the Bulls and it was plays like this early in the season that kept the fans on the edge of their seats.
