Bulls Land 18th Commitment of 2013 Class

From Bulls 247 - Even with the start of the season starting in just 6 days, recruiting never takes a day off.  News came today that defensive end Brad Smith out of Jesuit HS right here in Tampa has verbally committed to the Bulls, making him the 18th commitment of the 2013 class. 

The 6-4 228-pound playmaker totaled 54 tackles, 13 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles last season and joins fellow teammates Cameron Ruff and Robert Garcia in the class of 2013 as the Bulls continue to recruit their backyard well.  Smith, rated a 2-star recruit according to Rivals.com, had offers from Air Force, Boston College, Duke, and several other division 2 programs, deciding to stay close to home to play his college ball.

Smith is another great get for the USF coaching staff.  Joining Robert Garcia and Bruce Hector on the defensive side of the ball, the Bulls are stockpiling for the future and can't wait to have Smith take the field next season.
