After dropping their first game of the 2012 campaign, the Bulls were back on the field as they took on Iona and came away with a 2 to 1 win, running their record to 4-1-0 on the season.
After the Gaels struck first, the Bulls tied the game in the 49th minute on a goal from Leston Paul, assisted from Wesley Charpie and Sebastien Thuriere. The Bulls went ahead for good on a goal by Thuriere in the 55th minute on an assist from Paul and Ricardo Webb to put the Bulls ahead as the locked down on defense in a chippy game where there were multiple yellow cards and a red card called on Iona.
The Bulls will be back on the road starting Friday as they head to Ohio to be part of the University of Akron tournament and face Butler in the first game, beginning at 4:30PM.
