USF Volleyball Wraps up Tournament with FIU

The USF volleyball team wraps up their home tournament as they take on FIU (game begins at 1PM).  After beating Bethune Cookman yesterday in straight sets, the Bulls are looking to close out this home tournament on a high note.  FIU, 3-8 on the season, will try to make a run and knock off USF in this final game of the tournament.

FIU is led by senior outside hitter Marija Prsa (5-11) who has 129 kills, 5 service aces, and 119 digs on the year. Freshman outside hitter Lucia Castro (6-1) has 112 kills and 59 digs, playing well at a young age for the Panthers.  Freshman setter Ashlee Hodgskin (5-9) has 262 assists and 47 digs on the year, playing well in the center of the offense.  Junior middle blocker Kimberly Smith (6-3) has 94 kills and 5 digs (finisher at the net).  Senior defensive specialist/libero Ryanne Milligan (5-6) has 13 assists and 109 digs and helps bail out the Panther offense when needed.

This is really a huge game for the Bulls.  After knocking off James Madison and Bethune Cookman, the Bulls are playing well and everyone is getting involved.  The team is playing its best and needs to continue the trend before they play one more home game on Tuesday (FGCU) and then hit the road to open up Big East play.
