USF Women's Soccer Hits Road Again, Looking to Rebound vs. College of Charleston

The USF ladies, after a tough loss to Dartmouth on Sunday, are back on the road as they head to South Carolina to face the College of Charleston in the Charleston Cup (game begins at 7:30PM).  UCC is 1-3-0 on the season and 0-2 at home.   They are coming off of a tough 0 to 4 loss to FSU and want to defend their home but the Bulls cannot allow that to happen.

UCC is led by junior forward McCallie Jones (5-9) who has 1 goal on the year in 9 shot attempts.  Senior midfielder Sarah Mchaidle (5-7) has 2 goals on 8 shot attempts, making a one-two aggressive punch on their front line that will attack and pressure freshman Christiane Endler in the net.  Freshman forward Nicole Koretsky (5-3) has 1 goal on 5 shots.  Sophomore forward Sarah Cardamone (5-7) has 1 goal and 3 assists thus far and senior midfielder Maryam Buazza (5-6) has added an assists as well to round out their offense.

In the net for UCC is sophomore Taylor Avery (5-11) who has allowed 9 goals this season and has made 15 stops.  Avery had a hard time against FSU stopping their relentless attack and the Bulls who were frustrated to Dartmouth need to come out swinging in this game.  Passariello, the leading scorer for the Bulls, will continue to attack but she needs the other strikers such as Stokes, Patteson, and Harper to add in and get more shots flying at UCC and keep the pressure up.
