USF Men's Soccer Hits Road to Take on Cincinnati

After battling to a tie against Villanova on Saturday, the Bulls hit the road again as they head to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats.  USF, 6-2-2 (1-0-1) is looking to come away with a strong road win, but the Bearcats are 4-4-2 (1-0-0) are coming off of a 1 to 0 over Syracuse and are looking for the big upset (game begins at 7PM).

Cincinnati is led by sophomore forward Cole DeNormandie who has 1 goal and 1 assist on the season and leads the team with shots attempted at 27.  Freshman forward has 1 goal and 1 assist on the year.  Senior defender Zach Patterson has 1 goal (17 shots) and senior defender Mike Brizzi has 1 assist.  On the year, the Bearcats have scored just 6 goals, so it will be key for the Bulls to dictate the momentum in the game and put pressure on them.  If USF can get out ahead early in the scoreboard, it will be hard for Cincinnati to come back.

In net is sophomore Taylor Hafling who has allowed 9 goals this season and has been forced to make 46 saves on the season.  With a low scoring team in front of him, there is more pressure on Hafling to make the stops, playing into USF's hands.  The front line for the Bulls has to keep the pressure and put a ton of heat on the Bearcats to get the big road win.
