USF Women's Soccer Takes on Providence

The USF women's soccer team continues their road trip as they take on Providence (game begins at 1PM).  After a huge road win vs. UCONN on Friday night, USF is 7-4-2 (3-1-2) are looking to get another big win on the road, but Providence will prove to be a tough test.  The Friars, 8-6-1 (3-4-0) are looking to rebound after a 0 to 5 loss to Marquette.

Providence is led by freshman forward Catherine Zimmerman who leads the team with 7 goals and 1 assist.  Senior forward Laura DiClemente.  Senior midfielder Mary Vercollone has 3 goals and 3 assists on the season.  Freshman forward/midfielder Laura Elia has 4 goals on the year, adding more depth to their offensive attack.  Sophomore defender Allison Walton has 1 goal and 2 assist to even out their offense attack.  Goalkeeper Christiane Endler, coming off of probably her best game of the year, is playing tough and will need to continue to be at her best as the Bulls look to get another road win.

Sophomore goalkeeper Jessica Goudreault has allowed 15 goals this season and has made 42 saves on the year.  Goudreault is playing well and the Bulls will have to go on the attack in this game.  Against the Huskies, they were dominated in the attack, they have to turn the tables in this game to get back on pace and control the ball the entire game.
