USF Volleyball Takes on Marquette

The USF volleyball teams continues its road trip as they head a little bit more west to take on Marquette (game begins at 3PM).  After falling to Syracuse after a tough battle to 5 sets, the Bulls are 10-8 (2-3) are looking to bounce back in this game.  Marquette is 13-3 (4-0) and will be a tough test for the Bulls on the road.

Marquette is led by sophomore right side hitter Lindsey Gosh (6-0) who has 170 kills, 31 service aces, and 133 digs.  Senior right-side hitter/middle hitter Danielle Carlson (6-3) has 165 kills and 35 digs on the season.  Junior setter Elizabeth Koberstein (5-11) has 50 kills, 653 assists, and 104 digs.  Junior defensive specialist/libero Julie Jezionowski (5-4) has 288 digs, setting up and playing the middle of the court.  Senior right-side hitter Holly Mertens (6-0) has 166 kills and 23 digs on the season.

USF battled tough against Syracuse and will need to dig deep and battle it out in this game.  Marquette is a tough team, but a win here would be huge for the young Bulls.
