Ladies on the Road at Syracuse Tomorrow

The ladies are taking on the Syracuse Orange. This mascot still creeps me out.

The USF ladies 10-11 (1-6) are back on the road as they take on Syracuse 15-4 (3-3) on Saturday afternoon at 1 PM. While most of you will be enjoying the great weather and pirate craziness at Gaspiralla, the Bulls will be hard at work trying to secure their first Big East road win of the season.

The Bulls are trying to stay at of the bottom and are taking on a very good Orange team that has size down low and can hit from the field. The Bulls have won the last two meetings at Syracuse, but this is not the same USF team and the Orange are much better this season. The Bulls will be led by Andrea Smith, averaging 16.8 points per game, the only Bull averaging double figures this season. She will have to shoot a high percentage and get her teammates more involved. Andrell Smith averages 7.5 points per game as well. Watch for Daleisha Carn and Sasha Bernard, they are coming on late and making an impact.

The Bulls have been hot and cold shooting from the field, so they will have to make a high percentage to stay in this game. They are feeling good off of the win over Seton Hall but have to get their act together on the road in order to keep some postseason hope alive. Good luck ladies!
