The USF ladies are headed to Washington D.C. to take on the 17th ranked Hoyas tonight as the Bulls try to find a late season win as they continue the slide to the bottom of the conference. At 10-13 (1-8) the Bulls won't be headed to the postseason but will be trying to keep out of the basement and get a few more wins before the offseason.
The Bulls will need Andrea and Andrell Smith to shoot the lights out against the tough Hoyas team that likes to dominate the paint, making life hard for Grant and Doomes-Stephens. The Bulls will have to lock down on defense and shoot a high percentage (something they struggle with all season long). The Hoyas can run a high tempo or slow the game down to a crawl, making it hard to USF to get anything going on offense.
This could be a very tough game for the Bulls, but they showed a lot of fight in the close loss to the Syracuse Orange, showing the team has some fight left in them. They will come out strong against Georgetown and will make sure to push the Hoyas and hope they are able to pull the major upset in the Nation's Capital.
