Sitton Leaving Football Program

Walk-on running back Johnny Sitton is leaving the football program (per Greg Auman) (Picture:usfnation.com)
The Bulls are losing a few players in the early days of Spring practice (from Greg Auman). Every Spring, every team across the country loses a few players to transfers or other decisions, USF is the same.

Running back Johnny Sitton (5'7" 165-pounds) has decided to transfer to a smaller school (undecided where yet). A former walk-on, Sitton returned 3 punts for 29 yards last season before losing the job to Terrence Mitchell. Sitton is a small player that probably wouldn't find his way onto the field much this season. By transferring to a smaller school, he should be able to make a bigger impact.

A few other players have left the team as well. Reserve punter Renato Proia (the former USF soccer player) is leaving. Linebacker Matt Milk is leaving (had 1 tackle last season). Wide receiver Bermanley Augustin is leaving as well. All of these players were walk-ons and weren't expected to make an impact this season.
