Stan Heath has a new PG commit, Blake Nash, and this young man could be special for USF.
While there is still a question about his scholarship (see the previous blog, don't have one available at the second), there is no denying this young man is a talented player.
Nash averaged 22 PPG, 5 APG, 6.5 RPG, and 2 steals a game as well. He also shot 42% from the 3-point line (stats provided from Greg Auman). Nash is a driver, but can also pull up and make long range shots, something the USF guards lacked all season, the ability to score on their own. He is smart with the basketball and can run an offense. With Crater graduating next season, Dority not making an impact on offense yet, and Collins a freshman, Nash has a big opportunity. He will have 3 years remaining when he steps on campus and should become an instant scorer for USF.
Check out this video of Blake Nash at work and what we could see in the next few seasons.
