Ladies Sweep Syracuse

Time to show the softball team some love! The ladies swept Syracuse this weekend in dramatic fashion and continue to put together a solid team, despite the youth all over the team.

USF swept the Orange, the same Orange team that was 24-5 entering the series and receiving votes in the Top 25 rankings. The Bulls outhit the Orange and the pitching dominated the series. Freshman Sara Nevins had the best performance of the weekend, nearly throwing a no-hitter yesterday and leading the Bulls to the 4 to 0 victory. Nevins was dealing all day, but a late inning double ruined her bid, but she got the complete game and showed everyone how dominate she is.

The ladies are now 22-15 (4-0) and seem to be hitting a stride right now. They have a mid-week matchup up with Bethune Cookman, so let's hope they can continue this nice winning streak.
