USF Beats Rutgers

Matt Reed had a solid afternoon on the mound as the Bulls took 2 of 3 from Rutgers.
The Bulls took 2 of 3 this weekend from Rutgers and improved their Big East record to 5-4 (15-16 overall).

Matt Reed pitched well in this game as the USF offense came to life, scoring 7 runs in the 7 to 3 victory to help the Bulls take the series and hopefully build some momentum as the team continues the season.

Jonathan Koscso was 3 for 3 in the game. Jimmy Falla was 2 for 5 as well as the Bulls had hits from nearly every player.

USF will next travel to Deland to take on Stetson in a key in-state game. Stetson is 25-7 (12-3) and won't be an easy contest for USF. The game is scheduled for 6:30 PM. Hopefully the Bulls are able to keep the winning momentum from this solid weekend series as they travel 2 hours up I-4 and take on the Hatters.
