From Rivals - Recruiting seems to get earlier and earlier, but it is never too early to look at recruits ahead of time, even in the 2013 class.
2013 cornerback prospect Tre Bell recently visited Tampa and the USF campus and came away enjoying everything about his visit.
The 5-11 160-pound star from Jersey City, NJ (St. Peter's Prep) is a slender, fast player that moves well and has excellent footwork. It is a bit odd for a corner to come all the way from New Jersey, but he is a talented player that could help way down the road fill a need position.
Bell does not have an official verbal offer yet from any program, but this is not too surprising considering it is two years down the road, but he will be hearing from some programs soon and hopefully the Bulls will be a team to call him because he has them high on the list already.
Below is a brief interview with the talented young man.
I believe CB Jerome Murphy was from NJ as well, so it's not too odd.
ReplyDeleteYes he was, Elizabeth, NJ. It is just interesting for our program to attract a player from that distance. The talk of Holtz building his fence around Fla and the recent success of recruiting GA and other southern states, just an odd state USF is not known to pluck players from.
