Notes From USF Practice - Day 8

Terrence Mitchell continues to adjust in his new role as a wide receiver.
From Adam Adkins - The 12-day camp in Vero Beach continues on.

B.J. Daniels was back in pads last night, throwing with the quarterbacks and getting snaps under center, but did not run any plays as he continues to recover from his hamstring issue. It is good to at least seem him back on the field and getting some work in on the field.

A.J. Love and Terrence Mitchell made some great plays catching deep passes and adjusting well to balls thrown with defensive backs covering them. It is good to see Love back on the field after missing some time early in camp with a bit of swelling in his knee. It is nothing to worry about and he is ready to prove himself this season.

Luke Sager and Elkino Watson impressed the coaches on their explosive bursts and great tenacity in the one-on-one drills. The Bulls will need some depth on the defensive line so it is good to see a veteran like Sager and the freshman Watson looking strong early.

More to come all weekend from Vero Beach including a big scrimmage on Saturday that is open to the fans, so if you are in the area, head out and watch the action.
