Ticket Sales Down Again

Home ticket sales are down for the third consecutive season, come on USF Nation, fill Raymond James Stadium!
From Greg Auman - As the season fast approaches (31 days and counting) ticket sales are down for the third consecutive year which is simply inexcusable for the USF Nation!

Associate Athletic Director Bill McGillis is reporting that as of Tuesday, ticket sales were at 17,580, roughly a 1000 less than last season, a 5% decrease.  3143 tickets are reserved for staff, spirit squads and trade sponsors, bringing the grand total up to 20723, still way too low for the Bulls.

Now they do have an extra week for ticket sales since the opening week of the season has the Bulls on the road in South Bend, but being down again is not a great sign, but is not the end of the world, at the moment at least.

McGillis reports that ticket sales are ahead of where they were from last season, which is a good sign for home attendance numbers.  Games against Miami, West Virginia, and others should help boost the numbers as well.

We at the Bull Rush encourage all the fans out there, alumni, Tampa natives, or anyone who simply loves good football, to buy season tickets.  Tickets start at $65 for the entire season, that is a crazy low price, so you would be foolish not to purchase tickets to watch a great team battle its way to the Big East crown.  We know the economy is down again, but you can't beat that price, anywhere.

  1. I've been holding off on getting mine but I think this Friday (payday), I'll finally pull the trigger. Gotta support our BULLS.

  2. Not a bad plan at all, can't beat the prices they have for them. $65 for season tickets? Can't get into a game in the over-confident SEC for that amount.

  3. "to" should be changed to "too" in the last sentence of the 2nd paragraph.
