The Bulls added another transfer this summer with guard Martino Brock. While he has to sit out this season, he will be a key member in 2012 and add perimeter shooting and solid defense.
Martino Brock - 6-5 190-pounds - Junior - Guard
Brock transferred to USF from South Alabama earlier this season and has been working hard in the weight room and on the court to get better. While at South Alabama, he had an up and down career. In 2009, he was one of their best playmakers, but in 2010, he struggled to get his scoring going. He averaged 14.2 points per game, 3.9 rebounds per game, and 2.4 assists per game. Despite the rough season, he ended his career averaging 12.8 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per game.
Brock will have two years of eligibility after he sits out this season. With Hugh Robertson graduating this season, Brock will make an instant impact for the Bulls starting in 2012. He is a solid shooter with great length and a strong motor that will make him a fan favorite. Coach Heath continues to find solid players that can hit shots and add depth to the team.
