Chad Taylor - 6-0 180-pounds - Junior - RH - Infield
Taylor returns for his junior season and adds a veteran glove and bat to Prado's lineup. Taylor hit .258 last year, driving in 14 runs, slugging .311 and had an OBP of .301, numbers he will look to improve on (was also 5 for 10 in steals, showing his speed).
2011 was a down season for Taylor after a strong 2010 campaign where he hit .275 with 4 home runs and drove in 13 RBIs, showing there is power in his bat. He had a .373 slugging percentage and a .331 OBP as well.
Taylor has the power to be a key member of the lineup for Prado. He also plays well in the infield and will be a solid member for Prado on the defense wherever he wants to put him.
