USF WBB Falls to WVU

The USF ladies battled hard against a tough WVU squad, but came up short at the buzzer, dropping the game 52 to 55. USF forced 20 turnovers during the game, but shot just 30% from the field as they fall to 12-11 on the season (4-5) on the season.

Jasmine Wynne had her 19th straight game in double digits in scoring. She finished the game with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Tiffany Conner no point and added 3 rebounds. Caitlin Rowe had 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Inga Orekhova had 10 points (was just 2 of 8 from 3-point range on the night). Shalethia Stringfield added 3 points as well as she got another start for Coach Fernandez.

Sasha Bernard had 9 points and 2 assists of the bench, giving the Bulls a nice spark off the bench. Andrell Smith had 6 points as well. The Bulls will now hit the road as they take on Syracuse on Saturday afternoon at 1PM.
