USF WBB Beats Pitt

Caitlin Rowe and company had a huge game as they improve to 15-13 on the season. 
The USF ladies, down early in the contest, were able to rally back thanks to the spark from senior guard Jasmine Wynne off the bench.  The Bulls were able to come out strong in the second half and won 62 to 50 over Pitt and are now 15-13 (7-7) on the season as they continue to try to reach the postseason. 

Tahira Johnson had 12 points (season high) with 6 rebounds and 2 assists.  Sasha Bernard had 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists.  Cailtin Rowe had 8 points and 3 rebounds.  Andrell Smith had 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals on the evening.  Inga Orekhova had 11 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.  Jasmine Wynne, cleared to play, provided a huge spark off the bench for the Bulls.  She had 14 points and 8 rebounds, leading the second half charge as the Bulls pulled away in the second half. 

USF faces two more games in the regular season, both of which are huge for their postseason hopes.  They will take on Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon at 2PM.
